The Institute of Neural Information Processing was established 2021 at the Center for Molecular Neurobiology Hamburg (ZMNH) under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Stefano Panzeri.
The research of Prof. Panzeri and his group members lies at the interface between theory and experiment and aims at understanding the principles of cortical information processing by developing new quantitative data analysis techniques based on the principles of Information Theory and by developing computational models of neural network function.
The lab is fully equipped with state of the art computational facilities.
The Institute is currently continuing the set up phase and several postdoc and PhD positions are available. Please contact the Director, Prof. Stefano Panzeri, if you are interested in these positions.
