EU-Research Funding

Welcome to your EU-Research Funding Office at the UKE.

As a researcher, gaining EU funding to implement research projects within the framework of the European Union enables you to substantially increase third party funding and to participate in highly ranked international research projects. It can also enhance your reputation and strengthen your potential for international networking. Our task is to maintain and increase the UKE’s participation in EU projects and to this end, we:

  • Investigate and share with you funding opportunities and other relevant EU information
  • Provide in-depth advice on how to maximise applications
  • Support the proposal, grant agreement preparation and project management stages
  • Oversee contractual aspects and arrange signatures in line with internal rules

Do you have a project idea? Have you identified an interesting call? Would you like advice on managing an ongoing project?

We look forward to working with you to increase your chances of gaining grants and to ensure successful implementation of your project.
