Omer van den Bergh
Prof. Dr. Omer van den Bergh studied psychology and received his PhD for his work on experimental psychology at the University of Leuven, Belgium. Until his retirement in 2018 he taught health psychology at the University of Leuven and was herein director of the research unit Health Psychology until 2015. His research focusses on the psychology of aversive somatic experiences by using experimental methods, looking at symptom and stress perception as well as respiratory psychophysiology.
