Prof. Marianne Huebner, PhD, Associate Professor of Statistics - Michigan State University, Department of Statistics and Probability, will serve as a visiting scientist at the Institute of Medical Biometry and Epidemiology from June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019.

Her expertise lies in statistics in medicine, survival analysis, surgical outcomes research, electronic health care databases and statistical genomics, see also https://www.stt.msu.edu/~huebner/

She will work in association with Prof. Heiko Becher on sub-projects within the framework of BMBF-funded project "PERGOLA". Besides, she is also interested in consultation and cooperation with colleagues at the UKE.

During seminar lecture of June 2018, Ms Hübner will present an overview of one of her current research project. The date and venue will be intimated well in advance under events.
