North German occupational health and occupational psychology care research: ensuring quality, further developing digital transformation

As a result of the unequal distribution of company medical resources, there is a shortage of occupational health care in Germany. There is currently a lack of reliable data on the care situation, but it can be assumed that micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in particular do not receive sufficient continuous occupational health care. Under the leadership of Dr. Robert Herold, the transdisciplinary junior research group “North German occupational medicine and occupational psychology care research: ensuring quality, further developing digital transformation” (NaaV) from the fields of occupational medicine, psychology, epidemiology and health sciences is working on developing approaches to increase the quality of care in occupational medicine, even with limited company medical staff resources. In addition to conducting qualitative and quantitative studies on the care situation and telemedicine services, quality indicators for evaluating occupational care services will be developed and tested during the project period (2024 - 2026). Another aim of the project is to qualify young scientists. We look forward to an interesting exchange at CHCR & PH! The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) and the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA).
