In Germany, more than 70,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. In order to identify and treat the disease optimally, we act according to high quality criteria. In March 2004, we were one of the first breast centers to receive the certificate of the German Cancer Society (DKG) and the German Society for Senology (DGS).

At annual intervals, our center is audited and the certificate is renewed, most recently in May 2015.

The Gynecological Cancer Center has been certified by the German Cancer Society (DKG) since 2009 and cares for women with ovarian, uterine and cervical cancer as well as women with changes in the labia, vagina and cervix. In addition, women with rare gynecological malignancies are also treated.

Detailed consultation, state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapy for women with diseases of the cervix, vagina and external genitals (vulva). Certified according to the guidelines of the German Cancer Society (DKG) and the Working Group on Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (AG-CPC).

At the Familial Breast and Ovarian Cancer Center, we offer counseling and care for individuals with a genetic predisposition to breast or ovarian cancer.

With the Skin Tumor Center, we have set ourselves the goal of guaranteeing patients and their families comprehensive, individual, personal and university care. A team of physicians and nurses specializing in oncology is available to assist patients with all medical and social questions and requirements.

With a skin tumor consultation, specialized wards, surgery department, light therapy department, a study center and an internationally highly recognized scientific research laboratory, our skin tumor center combines important care and research activities under one roof. This guarantees treatment at the highest university level with access to innovative new procedures in diagnostics and therapy.

The Head and Neck Tumor Center of the University Cancer Center Hamburg (UCCH) has been certified by the German Cancer Society since 2011.

Here, we work together with other tumor experts across disciplines in the case of tumor diseases and jointly determine the optimal, individual tumor therapy. In our treatment, we are committed to tumor therapy that is gentle on organs and functions as well as restorative.

The uro-oncology center is certified and includes the following centers:

• Prostate Cancer Center Martini-Klinik am UKE
• Urinary Bladder Tumor Center
• Kidney Tumor Center

The Martini-Klinik is a highly specialized private clinic for the treatment of patients suffering from prostate cancer. We offer all options for the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer and, together with the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), provide care for approximately 5,000 outpatients annually at the Prostate Cancer Center. With approximately 2,200 prostate cancer operations per year, Martini-Klinik performs the most complete (radical) surgical removals of the prostate worldwide.

The services offered by the Urinary Bladder and Kidney Tumor Center cover the entire range of oncological diagnostics and therapy.

The Visceral Oncology Center is certified and includes the following centers:

• Colorectal Cancer Center
• Pancreatic Cancer Center
• Esophageal Cancer Center

The Visceral Oncology Center enables interdisciplinary cooperation between all experts involved in diagnosis and treatment. This close cooperation guarantees treatment at the highest level of scientific and clinical knowledge. All participating clinics and institutes are leading institutions in their respective fields.
